Just voted. Had a chat with Bob Katter on the way in. He had a crack at what I was wearing with a laugh (shorts with obligatory hole, thongs, Jackie Howe etc) I told him he would win the seat in another landslide, even with his lack of local advertising (corflutes).
I told him all his Katter Party candidates in other seats had to wear the obligatory cowboy hat (he was wearing his, of course) in all their hard to find corflutes.
He was the definition of a no bullshit polly, they will have to wheel him out of Canberra in a coffin.
Still didn’t get my vote, he doesn’t need it.

We voted late down here. It was Mrs Bonzo’s first time as she recently became a citizen and she was excited to be part of a reasonably fair democratic process. It was nice to go through that with her.
We are in Flinders and its a fairly safe Liberal seat.
The amount of redneck racists here is crazy also ( we are on the poor side of the peninsula)
There was a crazy amount of signage and peeps for the teal independant. I dont mind him actually.
Only one Liberal and one Labor peep and they were both quiet.
