Australian Policies -- from December 2023

It will be if it moves to acquire Taiwan by military force…

Seriously why would China care if there were 40,000 Yank Marines here. USA is never going to invade China and China is never going to attack either USA or China. If there ever was a war, then the USA would start it over Taiwan and then that little island would end up in rubble.

Never happen, especially as the World econmies become more and more linked. Only scenario with a possibility, it the Middle East exploding and Russia being involved, but then again Russia has its hands full already.

USA just like Australia has a one China policy. China owns Taiwan, it is just the Taiwanese who dont get it. USA might bluster, but no profit in them going to war over Taiwan. Biden may make noise, Trump would never do it. Ironic that most big Taiwanese companies all have large manufacturing plants in China, just like hundreds of USA companies. Capitalists will win the day, even the “Communist” ones.

Bacchusfox has a big hard on for China. I assume he makes money from them. Also he is a communist, isn’t that right comrade?

Chardonnay socialist ……he thinks like a Trot but lives like a millionaire

I doubt China will move on Taiwan and if they do the US won’t step in. Too much economically at stake for China and US. In the end $$$$$ win

Not exactly a boner, but have been going there since 1973 and don’t find anything intimidating about China at all. Never made much money out of the place either.

China is not communist and neither am I. I was a Socialist once, but now I am an anarchist.

Give it up for lent?

Don’t drink Chardonnay, it is for wimps like you.

China and the US could conduct a war using Australia exclusively as the zone of conflict. May affect Chinese access to raw materials, and I’m sure the US would welcome the devastation of a third country as is their modus operandi.

I dint drink Chardonnay I prefer bourbon or vodka

Obviously possible but seriously unlikely.
What’s the tipping point? The Solomon Islands?

And you think Beijing doesn’t get bombed tf if China strike Townsville?

Edit: not completely discounting it but the risk/reward seems totally out of whack for China.

Good talk but in the meantime an ALP government has got trade back on track with our largest partner after the utter dumbfukkery of the previous govt. I can see how that could lead one to conjure up future global conflict scenarios in order to avoid saying “well, I guess they’ve done good here”. Kudos usual suspects for sticking to your pop guns.

I’m very happy we have trade back on track after the last clowns stuffed things up majorly.
Disappointed that the scumbag Farrell is involved but it is what it is

What’s wrong with Don Farrell ? He’s a bit odd but think he’s done a good job

Wasn’t really referring to you, but the other Blitz gun tends to be the scatter shot variety. Don’t know much about Don apart from the fact that his name is from the 1950’s.

Sided with McDevitt , shut the process down when he was subject to investigation by a Senate Committee , connected to the Saga.

Ah, that rings a bell. Maybe he can hook the Chinese up with some Tradie jocks and make everything right?

Well Bill, looks like Don Farrell is doing ok with trade, but even you could look good after the way ScoMo farked it up.

Farrell is the most rightwing religious nutjob that Labor has. Anti abortion, anti gay, anti anything that the papists don’t like.
