Australian Policies -- from December 2023

Considering it bypasses South Yarra and then skips the loop altogether and never goes to Southern cross, there will be quite a few annoyed people who have to switch trains somewhere along the way. I am not looking forward to adding a little more time to my trip and having to get off somewhere to catch a train to Southern Cross.

Cos they’re pack of dheads
BUT Libs even more so
Big problem will be if JA goes & her love child MAT takes over

That’s true, I’d forgotten about that. It’s the same coming in from the other side. North Melbourne and Arden street are something like 800 metres apart. It’s doable to change over, but it’s not streamlined.

You need to look at what is normal for people in major world cities like London, Paris, etc who have established metro systems that have been successfully operating exactly like this for decades.

Federal election has to happen before 27 September 2025, won’t happen during footy finals, and my bet is early May. Two interest rate cuts and economy on the up.

Are you taking the p1ss ? There is nothing socialist about the Labor Party and Melbourne is conservative in its nature.

Debt may be high, but it is under control and love them or hate the Andrews and Allan Governments have actually done something unlike the past Liberal Governments who built nothing and achieved nothing. COVID has had a lot to do with rising cost of the Big Build but believe what you like, it not out of control.

And with regards to population, look at the latest figures, Victoria is growing quicker than everywhere except Wa.

Reportedly the ACT Bar Association has cleared Shane Drumgold of 11 charges of professional misconduct, finding 10 of the charges meritless.
No further news on the ACT Integrity Commission inquiry into Sofronoff .
We still have the Reynolds defamation case in WA and Lehrmann’s NSW case to go.

Why do I? I currently can catch a train straight to Southern Cross. When this comes in then I am not allowed to.

Albo reportedly buying a $4.3m mansion up the coast. Nice upgrade for the PM

Joint purchase with fiancée.

Thanks for the clarification- it’s a very nice property. Congrats PM

Albanese gave an exclusive to Ben Fordham on the planned purchase. He advised that the location is close to the fiancĂ©e’s family, where she grew up. Following settlement, the title will be recorded on the disclosure of interest register.
He’s still trying to sell his property in Sydney, which he claimed is no longer suitable for the changes in his personal circumstances.

Not the greatest look for a current PM to be splurging 4 mill on a property, let’s be honest. Particularly when the rest of the country is struggling to even afford rent on modest family properties.

Only you give a fark! Why is $4 million splurging ? If you have the money then spend it, maybe he is preparing for retirement.

We have been looking in the past few weeks at houses in that area. Copacabana Is a nice place and houses range in price, $4 mill buys something nice, our range is less than that but still some nice properties.

I don’t give a ■■■■ what you do with your money. You know why? Because you’re a nobody and I didn’t vote for you to represent me in any capacity.

Spending 4 mill on a hilltop property overlooking the ocean gives off real “let them eat cake” vibes.

He better not actually feel that way.

Why does it matter where Albo buys a house and how much he spends ? He has been in Parliament since 1996, so he would have wealth and assets, what most normal people aspire to.

Why are you jealous of someone doing well ?

And unless you live in Sydney you didn’t vote for Albo

Im not jealous of anyone. He’s clearly worked hard and shacked up with someone who has also worked hard to generate a fair degree of wealth, that’s great for them.

Not overly concerned about his 4.35 million architecturally designed mansion which is described as ï»ż"cliff-top perfection".

It’s the several other investment properties, the complete lack of action on cost of living, the absence of any direction or substance in government, the continued environmental vandalism, the prostitution of our defence industry to foreign imperialist interests and the utter incompetence of his leadership that’s of greater concern.

The only cliff top perfection I care about is getting this bad boy to stop on 20 exactly.

Is Albo now a D.I.N.K (kids not living at home)? I saw his presser today. I was unaware that he grew up in government housing. Haven’t heard that before. You’d think he’d be telling that story at every single opportunity to show he empathises with ordinary Aussies.
