Just put it down to a test of character.
You ask who donated to government sponsored bushfire relief.
And you tell them that they didn’t spend a single cent on the victims of bushfires. They kept all your donations, to spend on…whatever.
And you ask if they can in good conscience give these people your vote.
Maybe people won’t vote for them but will they vote for the others?
I have no problem with the UAP getting 15% of the vote if it destroys the Liberals and Nationals.
But you’re describing people…and I use the word advisedly, who are so stupid that would never vote for the ALP regardless of policy or character or previous performance.
I think the problem comes with the fact people don’t always vote based on the PM, they vote based on how they feel their local elected fed member is going for them. So while they should vote against to get the idiot out, they may not because they like their local mp.
In my electorate I despise my MP and vote against him every single time, not enough do though. The people in this area seem to love Sukkar, something i simply cannot understand.
This is very true especially in regional areas where communities know and respect their local member
I would like to think that the 34% swing in the Shropshire by election was linked to Boris as PM.
It gives me some hope that a few Independents will prevail against the so called moderates in blue ribbon seats where their preference margins eroded last election.
So why the fark don’t you vote that way? Especially in the Senate!
For who exactly?
Got kids?
Yes, but he is a stereotypical 20-25yo tradie and can make up his own mind for who he wants to vote for. He isn’t a rusted on LNP voter but I’d almost be certain he would put anyone before Labor on his slip. I haven’t looked too closely at who our Indy’s are in my area but it’s a very safe ALP seat
So what has Labor done to him ?
Lied about a carbon tax?
Majority of the tradies around his age here are non Union and let’s just say they have had some interesting clashes on sites.
So is that your influence? I know a lot of tradies have done well out of our obsession with house and property so there’s less incentive to change the status quo. But what’s the knock on the ALP for the both of you, seems very strong. Fyi, I vote towards green when i can, not a Labor fanboy
Too late on that, ok
I don’t think we should be piling on Ace because his son votes for whoever, like he said he is an adult and can vote for whoever he wants
We are both very strong anti Union so can never vote Labor.
I don’t know who he will vote for, perhaps the Libs, perhaps Indy but I’m not voting Libs this election and I’ll have to see who the Indy’s are in my electorate otherwise it will just be a giant ■■■■ & balls scribbled on my slip
Fair enough, hope your votes count against possibly the worst Oz government in history
