Australian Politics -- from 2022 Federal Election

If it had been between heterosexuals, would it have been such a thing?
I don’t think Tom the Whistleblower reported this out of a sense of public duty.

Party of religion, party against same sex marriage, party that endorses hate speech against LGBTI people, party of Hillsong and Prosperity Gospel, party of tradition and conservative values, broad church etc, has high ranking members bringing prostitutes into the people’s House and ■■■■■■■ each other in the Prayer Room of all spaces. This on top of multiple rape, sexual assault, harassment and adultery allegations and proven.

This would be a year long dine out by Mordorch rags were it Greens or Labor and they wouldn’t get in for a century.

Stephanie Asher is a good candidate and as the sitting Mayor of Geelong has a good profile. Libby Coker is a good local MP and also has a huge profile after being Mayor of Surf Coast for Number of years. The redistribution in theory makes Labor a bit more secure.

Asher was asked to run as an independent in Corio against Richard Marles but choose to stay in the Liberal camp. I reckon she may have done better running as an independent in Corangamite.

No he reported it because he was jilted by one of his Liberal lovers.

I was told that the Prayer Room was very much an open secret in PH, frequented by many “boys” for joint prayer meetings.

It’s pretty rubbish.
Getting back to…actual stuff.

Why does the ALP need to point out that things that aren’t in the budget need to be paid for?
Why isn’t it immediately challenged with,
a) so what are you cutting, or
b) are you just blowing out the record debt further?

I ain’t even mad at the LNP.
This is the softest press gallery in Australian history.

I’ve seen 2 Tehan signs in PF, more than 6 or 7 Dyson ones.

Similar proportions in Warrnambool.

Most of the oldies I’ve spoken to are voting for him.

I was reading on Twitter that Smirko is blaming Labor for Robodebt.

I believe Labor initiated the programs to claim back money, but Morrison and Robert authorised the income averaging with zero human oversight…i.e. the bit that was totally unjust and caused the suicides. There is no lower limit to this piece of sub-human excrement.

My medication which allows me to work went up $20 a month over the past 6mo ths. Other medications i need have gone up too. I’d suggest the $10 reduction is put many back at prices they were at.

I’d hope it would be. If escorts of any flavour are being smuggled in for dalliances in the prayer room it’s just as big a story.

From memory, didn’t the “free trade” agreement with the U.S. signed under Abbott cause quite a few to go up in price due to American pharma wanting subsidies to generic drugs cut?

Or something of that nature.

Of course it is.

Edit: how much leeway do we give these people?
Imagine your own workplace.
Oh, you jerked off on someone’s desk? Don’t do it again, I guess.
You hired a hooker and rooted in the prayer room?
That accusation seems kinda homophobic.
What???!

FTA with USA signed under Howard. It included the so-called Disney clause of a very long copyright/patent period to US, way beyond the standard WIPO period.
After that, there were ongoing issues with blood, US wanting to compete with CSL in the Australian market. No idea how that ended up.

I gather that, if you looked inside the Parliament House prayer room, it would come as no surprise to find somebody down on their knees.

Soft? They know how to wrangle taxpayers’ dollars and must be running up quite a drinks tab at Scotty’s nightly pissups.

Katy Gallagher answering questions about the price of medications ripped into the Libs for announcing price cuts in Parliament, then removing them from Hansard.

Woman journo kept trying to talk over her but KG wouldn’t have a bar of it. Now the journo is probably saying how rude KG is.

Albo’s front bench have been most impressive in his absence.

And there was some clown called Jonathan Lea from 10 ripping into Albo for not having a presser on his first day out of iso. Three TV interviews, followed by a flight to Perth to open the campaign. Lea had sixteen new arseholes ripped for him. Turd! ■■■■■■ think they’re the players.

KG is a great person. She was friends with my sister in law and when my sister in law passed away unexpectedly 7 years ago, KG has been great support for my nieces.

I suspect Labor has quietly made a plan to behave more staunchly in front of the media pack to capitalise on the groundswell of disgust.

There was a review of PBS under Abbott by Peter Boxall, who allegedly wanted to abolish the PBS.
Boxall was appointed to run a new Committee, announced same day as election ANNOUNCE on 10 April.
The proposed Committee, TOR not finalised, would conduct a health technology assessment review.
Some negative reporting on this in the Saturday Paper ( behind paywall), also an article of 22 April on the site below
