Australian Soccer Thread (A-League/FFA Cup/Socceroos/Matildas) (Part 2)

feels like this is just to get something going and they’ll add more permanent clubs over time

alternative is to sit around for another 5+ years waiting for more clubs to become viable enough for a full h&a league

These are both ■■■■■■■ hideous

They’re fine, but they’ll never beat the 2005 WC Qualifying kit or the even simpler 2006 WC kit for mine. Now there’s a jersey you can set your watch to

Its not even the right shade of green and gold. More of a Brazilian or even ■■■■■■■ Jamaican kit than a socceroos one.

Has anyone worked out how to watch the Young Socceroos in the u20’s Asian Cup?
They play Japan in a semi final at 10:30 pm tonight.

I found this article, but I must be dumb, because I can’t follow it. Why can’t they just put it on one of the 10 play channels??

Load up 10play when its game time and it’ll be there.

So it’s a standalone stream?

Yep

It might just be streamed on YouTube…a lot of the matches have been?

Amazingly, it’s working AND the quality is good!

Thanks @scotty21

Wonder if either side will manage a single shot on goal in the second half?

Australia leading 2-0 in the 74th minute.

Australia 2-0 Japan

Bring on Saudi Arabia!

That’s a fantastic result because the Aussie under age teams have been awful for the last 10 years. This augurs well for the future.
