Not at all. Unfortunately ape and gorilla taunts from crowds have been all too common in football. You could accidentally grab something in the moment, but anyone with sense would pull themselves up quick smart and apologise for that.

Sadly it still happens in plenty of European leqgues. Players have he bananas thrown at them and crowds making ape noises.

Fair enough I didnât realise it was happening still in European games, I assume thatâs the menâs though with the hooligan element. I just find it hard to believe in this day and age someone would do that intentionally, especially in France where there is a large population of black people, especially in the sport too.

Mitch Duke got a trophy today with Japanese club Machida Zelvia in the Emperorâs Cup. Machida have been awesome, getting promoted to J1 last year for the first time ever and then being balls deep in a title race for most of the season. They finished pretty high this year too. Duke had a classy assist today, launched a diagonal pass through a gap to an on-running teammate.

I donât follow world football as closely as I used to, but that would have to be a pretty good pot wouldnât it? Who would we desperately want to avoid?
It means we donât play anyone in that pot. We will play teams from the other 3 pots.

Yep, 48 teams. Think it has been 32 teams since the 1998 WC. 24 was the best but 32 made the most sense. 48 is just ridiculous, you still have good teams missing out, youâre just adding more rubbish teams. Expect to see more 7-0 results (similar to the 2014 WC final I guess)

Itâs an excellent result
Its a pretty good result imo, weâre avoiding the likes of Uruguay, Morocco, Croatia and Columbia.
You canât really avoid any of the big hitters in pot 1 unless you draw Canada. Pot 3, you donât want Norway, Paraguay or Egypt, the issues also come from some of the big names sitting in the qualifiers.
Worst case group may look like:

Australia
Paraguay
Italy (Qualification Pending)
Best Case:
Canada
Australia
Panama
Curocao
