This is just fantastic for us all, but especially for young girls & how inspired they’ve been by the Matildas.

I’m glad that Optus sports are giving opportunities to ex-Matilda’s players to be special comments…… but they really need an analyst commentator to talk through the tactical side of the game, rather than just raw emotion from ex players.

I’m a little concerned how weary and one-paced we looked late against France, and the extra time - with only a three day break - could be a factor tonight. We’ve put a lot of Kilometers into relatively few players. An early goal would be massive.
This is rivalling what it was like for the Qatar games.
This place is going completely mental.

Gustavson Has been reluctant to use the subs for most of the tournament.
He must use them tactically tonight.
He’s got Vine and Chidiac on the bench, who can get the ball moving quickly later in the game.
Never got the notion of standing around at Fed Square freezing your bollocks off watching the game on a big screen. Would rather either be at the game, watch from home in front of the couch or go to a pub, but whatever floats your boat I guess…
