Happy to grab two young potentially high scoring defenders. Clearly both could be busts but if one comes off it will be a great result.

Now, if neither(or one) of these guys doesnât get up for you this year wouldnât you love an extra couple of keeper spots to hold your speculative investments.

Yep, i know, I Went quite early here.
But you need plenty of centreâs now that the matchday lineup has gone to 7, Mutchâs numbers as a junior are ridiculously good, there are some good hints coming out of Essendon that the kid is a natural ball finder and, most importantly, the game needs an element of fun for me. A speculative Essendon kid always adds a bit of fun to proceedings. Will play mainly reserves, iâm under no illusions, but if you can get the pill a hell of a lot - and he can- you just never know. Would have gone with Horlin-Smith if still availablebut Iâll happily Bank this one for the future.

I canât say I know Mutch about him. But I do like how you explain your thinking after picks, I think it adds a lot to the league!
Thanks mate. I try to explain the picks as i make them.from memory last year i posted a photo a pic of my diary page dealing with picks 1,4,5 . Cant quite do that yet, but i will show a photo later of a page that i havent changed since i locked in on Bowes.

I actually flicked through last yearâs thread and saw the exact photo youâre talking about. Youâd done some initial work which youâd then changed after dealing for an additional early pick.
In previous years Iâve done similar stuff, including lots of notes about the new draftees. This year Iâve basically done nothing. Poor Vandrs had to call me out on some of the rubbish contingencies I sent through.

I didnt consider him closely at 41 only because i wonder where he sits in the pecking order with Mitchell and Omeara arriving. But he could be an inspired choice.

He says heâs about an hour away from being able to pick.
Offered to pick up Liam Jones for him but heâd prefer to have a look at who else is available. Not sure why
