My next pick isn’t until 122, so obviously don’t have the opportunity to steal any players for a long time yet.
Key positions stink unless they are elite. JB gets 3 40s for every 90. It always hurts to drop them though. I thought long and hard about him and Henderson but one good round 3 JLT for both of them, a dream team superstar does not make.

I traded Knight in two years ago from Red. I rated him as a junior and he showed signs in 2015 of being a legit ballwinner and can hit the scoreboard.
2016 was an injury plagued disaster. Even so, it was quite a tough call letting him go and in fact Lang played him off the list on Keepers Day.
So to find him in the 4th round of a draft that is starting to thin out a bit for genuine mids with forward eligibility was too good to pass up. Of course he may stay plagued by injury. But Pyke has signalled that he sees Knight as part of a new look midfield, so fingers crossed.

Very happy that Parfitt lasted until pick 61 but it was a long stressful wait from 43.

He was one i was keen on all along but had to fill my backline needs first as i was very short of players there.

Totally agree but at 57 it felt about right particularly if the team ahead of him improves. If he was sitting on my list originally I would have cut him too
Seems i buggered up my calculations and traded 2 “dead” picks that in fact weren’t dead and put me to the end of the draft. Bugger!!

@Birch19 Mitch brown was the other I was weighing up at 56. If we do play him as the third tall defender and he racks em up I’ll be annoyed. His bf status was also very attractive.

BF status is the main reason I went with him. Also our KPP’s have had a few injuries in pre-season so may get more gametime as a result.
