Yeah, terribly unfortunate for No5. Injuries are killers at this time of year.
I was hoping I’d make the jump to 1500+ which would put us in the frame, but we keep accumulating injuries. I’m pretty pleased with how we have covered for key injuries all year, but that’s a relative thing. It doesn’t win you a flag.
That sucks No5. Sal is right, there’s always a point where you just can’t cover for injuries anymore.
I’m in a similar situation with my forward line. My mids, backs and rucks have all been pretty fortunate with injuries, but my forwards keep copping an absolutely hammering with form and injuries.
Toby McLean hasn’t been in great form as is, but his hamstring on the weekend means that I’m down what is basically my whole first string forward line of Menegola, Daniher, Franklin, McLean and Ceglar.
Granted I misjudged the trade period, where I should have brought in another forward after Daniher’s LTI, but tough to cover for 4-5 players in one position.

Think I’ll have a few issues this week too. Dawson suspended, aisch has a shoulder issue, Brodie will get dropped, higgens has bleeding on the brain

Shocked I managed to top 1500 this week, lots of bad performances. Melb v WC game was huge for my boys.

My team choked. No scores over 100 (although Hunter Clark might get there)
I have a full team playing, and Ant - with three donuts - is a very real chance of beating me.
The gap between my teams best and worst is truly incredible.
On track for my highest score of the year. Better late than never, I guess.
Got home by 23 points. Really did not deserve to win that.
