By his own admission he describes himself as an âextremistâ. What ever he did, he tried to do it harder than everyone else. You could see it in his football. B Cousinsâ ability to run changed the way football was played. You know how we had nearly a million interchanges until the capped was instigated? Itâs because of B Cousins. He outran everyone. Didnât matter who his opponent was, heâd outrun them. Remember when starting on the bench or getting benched was seen as a disgrace? He inadvertently changed that perception by forcing rotations upon his opponents. Not may players can lay claim to changing how the game is played but B Cousins is one of them. Regrettably, that internal drive to be better, harder and to outlast his opponents was put towards partying. Combine that with a level of public adoration that has never been seen before or since and he came to believe he could do anything. I know for a fact that some high profile âcolourful Northbridge identitiesâ tried to counsel him a few times about his choices but it was to no avail. His love of amphetamines was too entrenched and those around him that knew what he was up to werenât strong enough to intervene. And in fairness to them, had they spoken out earlier, they would have been ruined such was the all encompassing love of B Cousins. Nothing could be done.

In my opinion being a Parent is the hardest and most thankless job in the World. There are no guarantees how a child will turn out.
Yep, some Parents are scumbags, but some are model Parents and the child still turns out all wrong.

M Malthouse was the big one - used the bench to blunt the best runners and playersâ edge over their direct opponents. Pies were consistently the highest rotating side and he was the most vocal critic of the cap coming in - he knew full well he had the most to lose.
Interchange cap didnât come in until after Cousins had retired.
Nup. Coaches couldnât deal with Cousins. He required multiple players and changed tactics. All those players you listed were exceptional players but B Cousins was next level.

It was a mixture of concern and disgust.
She funds four or five clinics all up. One in Australia, two in Europe and one in the U.K. Not sure where the other one is maybe France.
Adele spent six months in a clinic, she had a severe drinking problem and it could have cost her career. Going into the clinic saved her from her destructive behaviours and fame, which she couldnât handle, she turned her life around because of that clinic and the skills she learned there. She discovered there was a shortage of places to go for people who wanted to turn their life around and get clean so she decided to do something about it.
Australia took to Adele like a duck to water. A bit like Abba were also huge here, so is Adele.

It is also about the company young adults keep. As I found out too late, keep bad company and usually you end up doing the same stuff. As my Buddhist Teacher says, keep good company and you will mostly walk on the right side of the road.

Anyway, none of my business, but if he stops wrecking himself with drugs, good for him, and if he stops being violent to other people, good for them.
