Like the Crusaders of yore…but there are Christians in this town…Kill them all, let God decide who to keep.
Now it gets juicy.
To be honest, I don’t think its much of a war memorial if it doesn’t remember the bad with the good. Both bad to our boys, and by our boys. Otherwise its just glorifying war.
Anything in the AWM on the Frontier Wars.?
To bear in mind that BRS is lodging an appeal. The plaque could not go any further.
Media frequently glorifies war. It’s awful.
Does ‘all of our ADF’ include all the ADF members who blew the whistle on Roberts-Smith, and testified against him I wonder?
what model car?
Serves ABC right, chasing the ratings to compete with the commercial media.
Well, glad to see that the REAL villain of the whole Afghanistan war crimes scandal is getting his comeuppance - the whistleblower. The Commonwealth have ruthlessly pursued the guy, in significant contrast to the extremely leisurely process of investigating and prosecuting actual war crimes. Pretty clearly a tactical guilty plea - his public interest defence was denied by the judge earlier in the week, and today the commonwealth was granted to ability to prosecute him based on evidence that neither he nor his lawyers were allowed to see. Clearly that was only going to go one way.
It’s absolutely obscene, and completely predictable, how relentlessly both Coalition and ALP have hounded this guy.
That is absolutely disgraceful
Looks like Kerry’s in for an expensive month.
“Estimates have pegged the cost for the opposing parties at exceeding $25m.”
Will this war crime ever face justice?
Who has the biggest self owned defamation case of the year?
Sue Chysanthou getting money for jam. No hope of winning, but she rakes in the fees.
