He wouldn’t choose to come here unless he saw things changing.
He’s a beacon of hope.
He is a teacher
He is a general
He demands respect
And he will be able to drive some ■■■■ into these squibs

If Clarkson said it’s okay, trust the process… I’d actually believe that, and give him the slack to do what he wants.
Only because of his resume and what he has achieved from ground up. He has cred.

Won’t care, as we will be 3-10 with a clear indication of why and a solid plan to improve. Nobody cares about the W-L when you can see a consistent plan.

He’s half right, but it has been 4 years.
4 years with no improvement to the game plan, no clear structure at all on what we are trying to do on game day.
Thats long enough for anyone to get the sack.
If Clarkson comes in and in 4 years we are in the bottom 4 i’d fully expect his place to come under pressure too.

You just know Zach will give the stock standard boring answers that any captain would.

Not the thread, but IF we get Clarkson, he could actually see value to retain some players we have started loading into the cannon.
He may also want to trade half the team.

There are very separate layers to all of this. If Rutten goes, Campbell has to go too. He’s set all of this up, it’s his appointments that have failed at every turn.
But that doesn’t necessarily equate to Clarkson having to be part of the equation.
We’re more or less the youngest list in the comp. Clarkson spent most of his time at Hawthorn with a mature group and an aversion to going to the draft. I’m not 100 percent sold that he’s the fit for this club, despite the ferocious personality we seem to think is key.
