If Mosquito lives up
to expectations he replaces Guelfi or Clarke
If TBC breaks down Phillips in unless Draper is ready to go, fully recovered and firing
You have done well!!

I just hope I live to see the Best 22 on the in Round 22 in 2222
Now that will be some kind of team
Not enough Zerk or Mosquito in these teams…
How many years more can we get out of Hooker? Dotto Zaharakis
I heard a rumour that Hooker is almost cooked. Anyone else think that?
Probably because they won’t get a game round 1
We polled a recent studio audience and only 3% reckon he’s cooked, and there’s only a 2% chance of that…
Or round 2, or round 3. In fact we’ll be lucky to see them before the bye in my IMO.
I put them both in my team though.
I’d have Cutler on the Interchange.
It’s interesting how many of you have J. Daniher at full forward.
For my money, he’s NOT a full forward — he’s a centre half forward, in the Wayne Carey mould.
Ruck division looks similar to last year
Thank you Richie
hopefully none
What we are Probably missing: another strong stoppage classy mid. Are we still hoping it’s Langford?
What we will hopefully do this season: the bottom ten or so mids develop more and/or have a great season with Caracalla taking the reigns. Younger stars take another step. Older heads hold form.
What would be nice: we get a dominant ruck performance across most games. Joe has a good season. Injuries to important players don’t cripple us. Someone like Mosquito, Phillips, Cutler, Snelling or Draper comes out of nowhere and makes an impact. Jackets goes to the draft and finds a gem.
“Jackets goes to the draft and finds a gem.”
That is what we need
It’s Jackets. There’s going to be someone who falls into our hands. Might have a touch of the OPs, perhaps.Might be an Essendon supporter…
Flanker who we can’t believe is still available at that pick as we rated him much higher. We think he could ultimately develop into a midfielder.
No 1 draft criteria for jackets
No 2 went to a private school
B: Ambrose, Hurley, Redman
HB: Saad, Francis , McKenna
C: Cutler, Shiel, Mc Grath
HF: Stringer, Daniher, Smith
F: Walla, Hooker, Raz
R: Bellchambers, Merret, Hepp
Int: Guelfi, Draper, Parish, Zak
Emergency: Lang, Lav, Zerk, Ham
Would like to see at some point a forward line of:
Raz, Walla, Mozzie, Stringer mixed with Joe, Smack and Chook.
Add in Guelf and Snelling for defensive pressure as we leaked a lot from the forward half with the ball coming out too easily last year…
I’m watching the 96 qualifier against the bears … and it doesn’t surprise me how important a Mark Harvey / Dean Wallis type player was… hard , ready to smash someone… Leppitch and Aker got into Wanganeen and Harvey comes in to bat for him , grabs Leppa And it looked like he gave the dont you bring that ■■■■ here and in turn he shat himself… Who’s ready to smash someone or remonstrate and show opposition don’t you mess with us? We need some balls… you see the likes of a Sicilly or a Maynard that really throw their body around and like to intimidate… do we have any turds coming through ?
I think this concern has been flogged to death on BB with no response from the club
If Sheeds was still involved in the footy side of things well …
