I wish we experimented with a clash strip that had a dual red and black sash like that. (I’m in the minority that doesn’t like the current shrug-shoulders-just-invert-the-colours-and-lose-the-red-sash clash strip.)

it depends on where he is rated, for example they spoke about walker and if he was bid on at pick one you would need to give up the equivalent of two pick sevens. the real worry is if the Afl change the rules to a protected top ten.
I’ve always wanted us to have a home strip with the back having red numbers on a black background, looks great when soccer clubs overseas do that. Would have to only have the sash on the front though like Richmond’s yellow jumper during their premiership era.
On bewick, dunno why he has never been given a development role at Essendon, one of the best kicks ever at the club and a great resume in under age development.

@Captain_Jack used to do a quiz and the answer to #10 was darren bewick, except about 20 people replied #10 Darren Bewick all at once (and then more after)
So now, everything anyone does a list, they always make sure there are a minimum of 10 on the list and #10 is always “Darren Bewick”

pretty much yeah, its why the new rules will hurt middle tear clubs more than anyone in my opinion. Bottoms sides can get lucky and get in before bids or land the gun players if clubs dont match, top teams will have to pay up yes but they are already at the top they can afford to mortgage the future picks to do it. But the middle clubs would have to risk it all to take a top selection
