Who do you support. I find it hard to believe it is the Bombers

Are you suggesting that a person who is critical of a club that has been ■■■■ for 20+ years cannot also be a supporter of that club?

I would say that a happy clapper is less of a supporter, because they are happy with mediocrity.

If it’s only criticism and disparagement, yea that wouldn’t be supporting

You always can be unhappy but to bag the crap out of everything is not at all supporting.

Each to their own, but why do you actually bother, if you cannot see anything positive to say. Like Caddy is a gun, Roberts is good, Kako has a bit of magic, …..

It’s staggering people can’t see that after 20 years of garbage, that people find it hard to trust anything about this club. Especially when they see the same mistakes being made time and again

People some people believe they are better supporters than others if they blindly believe everything the club does is great

Archaic nonsense. Pretty sure this is the only ‘professional’ football code in the world that has it.

There wouldn’t be one poster on this site who doesn’t believe the club needs to, and should be doing better.

Yet you come up with that baloney.

Its also a very bad look for a potential draftee still over 12 months from draft age ignoring an interstate club that can prelist.

I’d rather he chat to them than not.

If Koby isn’t 100 percent on wanting to try join the dons he/“we” needs to know.

Similarly it ensures the club knows it needs too commit too him as well.(and trade in the DVI points if need be)

Thats part of the deal.

It’s also why though Tassie should have a haircut to their draft concessions in terms of fairy dust points too mind you(as they have a shitload)

if an academy or father son doesn’t want to prelist with them, they then know they are abusing the system by bidding on them early at the 2027 draft.

Ie it should be a straight forward matching process via clubs bidding with the points they have after a ladder finish of the 2026 season like it would be every other year.

Well if they did something right, there would be something to support.

I am not always negative and if I say nothing at all, that is a positive. Me not saying Caddy is a gun simply means that he hasn’t earnt it yet. I am excited about what he might become, but he is not there yet.

I have seen a lot of improvement from Kako this year also, but like usual injury’s seem to stem any sort of development that our young players have, so I refuse to be excited.

At the end of the day, I assess players on their abilities and they type of player they are. I love Durham despite him not being a high possession player, nor the best kick. What he does have is intensity. These are the types of players I gravitate to. I don’t particularly rate high disposal players unless they are damaging.

So if I am not positive, it’s probably because of the types of players we have always recruited and then the crappy coaches we keep selecting.

Apparently we have ‘seen a lot of improvement from Kako this year’…

We have from last year where I felt he was a little soft and didn’t impact. I was too harsh on a first year player. He looked good this year.

Looks like they got something right..

Oh, good on them for getting something right.

Now you’ve got something to support ..

I supported Stringer, then they traded him.

Plenty of other options now to support…

I do like individual players. Durham is my favourite, followed by Duursma. Caddy is close too. I enjoy watching the kids when they show specific traits that I believe translate to AFL footy. Problem is that over the years we haven’t selected those types of players. I dislike soft players.

Your posting suggests otherwise
