Big Sammy Draper - #1 ruckman now #2 (Part 1)

@theDJR

It’s not, and never has been

See: Lloyd, Franklin, Higgins

Regardless - running half the field, breaking two tackles and kicking a checkside on the run is not less difficult than what Daicos did

Draper didn’t have to bust through the vicelike grip of Himd.

This. So much this.

I want Joe D beating out Howe for MOTY levels of butthurt from Filth supporters.

Give em something else to sook about along with their team going out in straight sets.

Most skilful and hardest to do - Bolton
Most spectacular - Draper

I’d go Draper by a narrow margin because he’s a ruckman doing it.

Generally speaking this is the way it will go down.
Many Collingwood fans will vote for Daicos.
Many Bomber fans will vote for Draper
Many Richmond fans will vote for Bolton
A few of the other 15 clubs fans will vote for whichever. ( bearing in mind many of those people hate Essendon mainly because of the saga. )

Who has the biggest active fanbase? Theres your winner.

Exactly.
Forget your fan engagement surveys.
This vote will tell the board all they need to know.

you know what to do.

Do you have to enter your details and be spammed in to oblivion??

Yep… for someone who was ferocious tackler when he entered the scene, his defensive efforts have rapidly dropped away.

It’s nice we are as a club involved in two efforts.

Obviously love Sammy’s the best, Daicos has that beautiful touch on the wing but geez how is the degree of difficulty on Boltons? Insane.

Drapes should win it on sheer end to end dominance from the bounce and the celebration,

I have seen Ruckman grab the ball like that but none I have seen scored a goal. NicNat did such a great play more than once, but always have been points. Do you remember when you saw it ?

I remember a couple equal or better… McKernan… Grundy from a throw in defensive wing was the best I’ve seen. Scoots is probs correct that they don’t exactly match, but few goals do.

Totally agree that it’s besides the point and we should all be voting for the big guy regardless.

Joe Daniher 2017 ANZAC day.

Maybe easier degree of difficulty because he only ran it about 5 steps, before tapping it home the other 85m

Yes.

Why is every aspect of AFL now a marketing opportunity for someone? What happened to fan engagement? Why can’t people, especially little kids, get some enjoyment out of voting for their favourites without having to sign their life away beforehand?

l wanted to vote, but l draw the line at registering on Twitter.

Honestly, how is that even a contest? Draper’s goal easily.
