What terrible news. So sad to hear of her passing.
Such a loss - really had a drop in my stomach when I read this news update. I didn’t know she was battling cancer either - goes to show, you never really know what people are going through.

Yes, this. I was only thinking the other day that I hadn’t seen her post for a while and thought she must have been taking a break. I will miss her and am greatly saddened to hear of her passing. Rest easy, BigAl.

I think we need to name a section or a topic on Blitz after Bigallen so she may always be remembered. Unsure where would be best but would be nice to see.

Really sad news, was a huge contributor and knew so much. Throughout the politics, Covid, saga and NSW bushfires so gave a huge wealth of very detailed knowledge. She was allways level headed and above the nonsense we blitzers can get up to.

This hit me right in the face. I let out such a sudden “OMG” that my wife asked “What”? I started trying to explain how the news of someone I’d never met had just made me feel really sad but not being on a forum, she wouldn’t understand. But that’s it isn’t it? A person you’ve never met but feel like you know so well through their insightful posting. Posts that I’ll miss because she was so passionate and so measured. And because I’ll miss those posts, I’ll miss Bigallan - even though I’d never met her.
