Thereās two variants of these though. Thick smooth ones (good), and then their one with stuff embossed on them (bad).

My hazy memory recalls we used to get fig roll biscuits in a similar style. Canāt recall brand.
Scotch fingers. Or better, scotch shortbreads in a round tin.
Tim tams are great - I reckon the āoverratedā thing is just because they are so popular.

Blast from the past: im the ā80sā90s there were some bran type biscuit with a really chewy blob of ājamā (apricot?) embedded in the top. They were kind of European or health food. Does anyone know what they were? Itās up there with Return of the Jedi Icy pole as a memory.

Short Bread Creams (Which I liked)
