Black with a Red sash (unless directed by the controlling body)

Some may know I have a website dedicated to the history of footy jumpers. As part of that I have been doing the jumpers with sponsor logos. The Essendon pages are almost complete, I’ve made it to 2019.
I should have this up to 2023 by next week.

1988 seems to be broken I think?

Colour TV has a lot to answer for.

A LOT of work there. Mero !

BTW the 1925 page is headed “1924.”

Great work Mero.

I was looking at 2019, with 8 different footy jumpers. Imagine the work involved getting all the right sizes, numbers, designs and patches sorted and at the right games.

Respect for the property stewards.

And two jumpers each for the blood rule

There’s a lot of unsung heroes making our footy club function.

Love the “3” logo changing colours on the 2003 Home jumper!

I have that jumper, but my number 3 is broken because it doesn’t change colour.

I miss the speed kills jumpers, nothing good has happened to us since then

NUBRIK !!

You can get a t shirt with Nubrik across the front and the 80s delta wing bomber logo at the AFL shop

Puma rightfully gets spoken about for their good jumper designs, but our time with Fila was also elite

I like the Amart jumper.

Great ! But is it original or just a poor modern imitation ?

What do you reckon?

Here’s the hoodie version

Thanks, but no thanks…

2022 also had eight different jumpers

I guess patches designating occasions can be sewn on and removed and so the jumper stays in circulation.

The Anzac jumpers alter, as do the Dreamtime jumpers, and of course players leave for all sorts of reasons.

What happens to those jumpers I wonder? Two sets in the size and numbered for individual players - no longer used.
