Blatant cheating by umpires - “having a ‘mare” this century

From memory I think Clarke yelled “FARKKKKKK” really loud after making an error.

Well I stand corrected, that’s worth a free kick in front of goal with 20 seconds remaining in a tight game!

(Not having a go at you, just highlighting how absurd it is)

The AFL-favoured team won, so just another case of “Sensible Umpiring”

Those maggots must be sweating bullets in the closing stages of tight games wondering how TF they are going to pull a win out of their arses for their masters.

Nah! Sorry. It was out of bounds. Saw a giants player do that against us some time back. He was called out. It all depends on when field ump calls play on!
Edit: agree, over officiating.

Just on the Duursma thing… Because I can’t remember, was the kick he was taking from an out on the full? Or a mark? Or some other circumstance?

This was a bizarre situation along with several other bizarre calls, umpire 16. & That bald maggot should be banned from officiating any Bomber games, both are clearly not a fan of us… baldy has never has been either

Maybe just the way I read the rule. As always they’re not overly clear in the way they’re written which allows some level of interpretation. Very useful.

Thought the score review was quite absurd yesterday. Overturned a West Coast behind with a useless camera angle. Sounded like the review bloke panicked and guessed.

I think you’ll find that with two cameras at 90 degrees, if you advance the simultaneous footage until it is directly over the post on one angle, the other angle view will tell you which side of the post it went. So it’s not really a guess.

You’ve read the rules? That’s one up on the umps!

We did get one back from the cheating ■■■■■■ when we were gifted a goal following Merrett’s best rugby pass I’ve ever seen to Caldwell in the last quarter. I don’t know why throwing the ball is never scrutinised by the media in their weekly saturation review of all issues.
Throwing has become so prevalent and is continually ignored by the umps. All that’s left is to make it legal.

The Dogs have been doing it for 7 years. It’s not a new thing.

The media has paid a fair bit of attention to it when Merrett did it. For some reason we don’t hear anywhere near as much when Bontempelli, Petracca, Cripps etc do it.

Libba, 13 times every single week.

It’s been a blight on the game for a decade, maybe more.

They’ll ping a few players in the next week, and then ignore it.

For those interested compare the WC player at 16:07 in the second quarter with Duursma at 6:25 in the fourth. Identical actions, one called play on, one penalised. You figure out which is which.

WC Wanker

Duursma

To be clear, the boundary umpire is the one at fault here. The central umpire calls play on correctly in both instances, but only calls out of bounds in one…
