Today was the day when umpiring crossed the line from incompetence to corruption.
The AFL needed a win from the Gold Coast and were determined to get it.
The two umpires involved in the Zararakis goal should never be seen again.

Umpire on the other side (#23, I think) was in a prime position to see that should have at least been reviewed.
But this wasn’t even that close .
Nor was the mark to Swallow particularly close to 15m. Closer to 5m than 15m.
Holding the ball seemed to be right out too, unless occasionally when it came out in the tackle. But guys diving on it…ball up every time.

He didn’t fail, he cheated, both boundary umpires and at least 1 field umpire could see the non decision was farked up. The lot need to be sent to Alice Springs fir the rest of the season. FMD 22 frees to 11 … cheating maggots

Game was fixed but it didn’t work out in the end.
Even my Carlton supporting sister was livid with the umpiring.
