3 votes - Fordham - Kicked straight week no one wise could
2 votes - Epis - aggression and swung it our way in the second
1 vote - Pryor - gave Baldock a towelling.
Agreed
14.21.105 defeats 9.16.70
Actually, I need to get Sampson in there
3 Fordham
2 Pryor
1 Sampson, Epis, Blew, Davis
Thanks SCotty.
I knew practically nothing of that game!
Great fun again
And were back!!
That was seriously fun. I haven’t so much as watch a second of that game before. Thanks for the sales pitch @Kj_11
Anyone have a problem with a jumper clash, at any stage of this match?
l didn’t think so.
Yep, I like that list!
What about Birt?
Had 27 disposals, Mitchell and Blew the only other players for either team to be over 20.

that was a lot of fun, and great to watch with you guys, would never know anything about that game, now its a definite memory
Yes, Birt very good. And very lively!
Third time l have seen it, including the original replay.
Perhaps this should be made compulsory viewing for all new Blitzers.
Too often Blitzers think our history starts with the GF win in 1984.
Stewart topped their marks with a paltry 5.
Fordham 11 and Sampson 10.
74 to 44 our way.
I really, really enjoyed that - to the point where I started pouring whiskeys for myself at half time to watch the second half!
Agreed. It’s interesting, as I knew some of the names, and my Grandfather talked about Epis and Birt a bit, but Dad, who was 18 at the time barely ever talked about 65.
(Mum and her side talked about 66 so much that half of those StK names were more familiar to me than the Essendon ones)
Ditterich involved in 11 frees (7 against).
Just how safe Sampson and Fordham were when marking!
The halfback line was also impenetrable
Fraser with 9 at last count, but could have had another as well.
Essendon dominated the air. Too big, too fast, too good.
