Sorry Everyone. Small personal issue to attend to. Iā€™ve handed the keys over to DJR for this week. Iā€™ll still start the North vote later tonight.

OK, weā€™re setting the TARDIS for 2 July 2011. Pile in, thereā€™s plenty of room.

If youā€™re confused as to how we can all fit into that little wooden box, a quick explanation below:

Itā€™s Saturday night at Docklands (our home game). A crowd of over 40,000 is expected.

Geelong are sitting two wins clear on top of the ladder, undefeated after 13 games (and a bye). We, on the other hand, have lost our last five games in a row, and slumped from 3rd on the ladder to 10th! Last week was the worst of the lot, by 65 points to the Dawks.

Shut up Scotty, Iā€™m not done yet.

Interestingly, the named Geelong team is both vastly more experienced than us (total of 2525 games to our 1805) and stuffed with <10 games players (5 versus our 1). The newest of them is some spud called Mitch Brown. Mind you, he kicked three goals versus Adelaide in his debut last week.

We do have the youngest player though: Dyson Heppell, at 19 years and 49 days old. Heā€™s played in all of our games so far, in his debut year.

Itā€™s rather chilly tonight. Roof is closed.

Can it get any worse? Captain Jobe Watson was on fire (likely on track for his first Brownlow Medal win) but is out injured due to a massive hamstring ping last week. Whoā€™d have thought he could run fast enough to do that?!?

Geelong casually bring back Jimmy Bartel, James Kelly, Mathew Stokes, Brad Ottens and Josh Hunt.

doesnā€™t train hard enough, or run enough to do a hammy. windy hill flu

Good money can be made on Geelong at $1.05.

You can burn it on us at $7.

We havenā€™t beaten Geelong for six years!

Supersubs have been named: Colyer for us, and Gillies for them.

Unfortunately we have Dean Margetts (+ Kennedy + Jennings) umpiring tonight. Can our home crowd boo louder than that of the team from the west?

You gotta hope that assistant coach Bomber Thompson can give us some inside info on this mob ā€“ itā€™s his first game against them since he coached them himself.

Itā€™s lovely day in Bali. I donā€™t think Iā€™ll bother watching the game. Gonna go for a scooter ride along the east coast.
