I mean sure some of us would rather the scoreboard win and ladder position, but you know, as long as we think, believe and feel in our hearts we are better than them, that’s all that matters.

Carlton are good. IMO they are top 4 certainties…the gulf between them and us is quite large. A better midfield, a better backline and the starting point up forward is curnow/mckay v Jones/wright.

If your honest with yourself you’d know we’re not a top 4 team. 7-10 maybe, but we need everything to go right. We battled admirably tonight i thought but we just dont have the quality of what carlton do or the other top sides

Our forward line simply isn’t good enough. Stringer is a cameo, jones and wright are completely not good enough and if you dont know we have the worst small forwards in the game then well…

Just too many battlers who are inconsistent. Heppell, kelly, hind, Goldstien are the 4 main culprits. Heppell started the year good but imo has been anonymous mainly for weeks. What is his role? I think we need to start looking at a replacement

I also think Scott is just making some bad decisions during games and at selection.

1. Using kelly as ANYTHING but a small defender is idiotic. Why was menzie playing in the backline in the last?

2. Just put martin on a HFF. Just do it. Stop this backline thing. Third quarter 10 touches, 2 goals, 5 score involvements. He’s a absolute brain-dead cabbage if he starts martin back against WCE.

3. Goldy cant ruck solo, which he mainly does. Why would we do this against TDK?
