I think we had plenty of hits at the at the draft just the club is ■■■■ at developing them thats the biggest problem.

We need a combination of ready made legit players and draft. And cut the deadwood.

But at the end of the day 11 wins isn’t a disaster when we’re probably chewing 80% of our cap this year when most others are near 100%.

Yes I know you need to be >95% but you know what I meant.

I totally agree, our player development has been atrocious. Perkins, Jones and Reid have barely gotten anywhere and more often injured than not. They can’t even keep these players out on the park, let alone develop them.

I’d settle for a team filled with guys who hated losing a contest, even if they are not that skilled. At least that’s a team you could be proud of each week

We have gone to the draft the last few years rather than use our picks to trade in players

  • Perkins
  • Cox
  • Reid
  • Eyre
  • Brand
  • Hobbs
  • Lord
  • McDonagh
  • Tsatas
  • Hayes
  • Davey twins

Not sure these are the players that you can build a list around.

Hobbs has improved this year, Tsatas shows good signs, the rest hardly anything.
