fans want to see what their clubs are building they want to be able to look at a team and go yep we didnt win that but you could see the effort and see what they are trying to build towards, at the moment there is nothing like that, like yze for example he wont get the arse in the next two years because they can see what they are trying to do

I agree on this, which is why Iâm happy to see Scottâs contract out.
He can keep being â â â â and net us good picks while these plodder middling older guys will leave of their own accord (contenders or tassie most likely).
Then when we finally donât have to pay anyone out, bye bye Brad.
True. Rather than moving forward with Scott - we are moving backwards. I suspect anyone with a tiny bit of coaching nous and a bit of toughness about them could turn this club around. After 3 years at the helm, Scott has proved he cannot advance this team whatsoever. He has to go.
Rutten changed a really good plan in year #1 and then, amazingly, changed to a poor one in year #2 requiring a massive, quick high press off half back which regularly left us exposed 2 defenders to 3-4 forwards as the ball waltzed out of our forward into our D50.

I remember at times last year Richmond were lamentable and being flogged with Yze being targeted for being a bit soft on the players. Richmond fans werenât going to the footy to watch them last year.
I think the patience with Richmond is more about fans believing theyâve recruited really well and know the talent theyâre seeing arrive at their club. Iâm less convinced Tigers fans are buying in as a result of Yzeâs work.
Time will tell whether Oooze is the man to extract maximum value out of their elite recruits.

In lamenting Brad Scott, please do not in any way even HINT that Ben Rutten was the answer to anything.
He just did not own a room or command respect. His verbal and non-verbal communication was not that of a leader or authority figure.
By all means, keep highlighting Brad Scottâs ineptitude because he really is clueless but, Ben Rutten, please.

Our recruiting has been good lately but there is no way this coaching panel can possibly get the best out of them. Itâs not only Scott but the other hacks that are destroying this team. Senior players are getting away with murder. They donât perform - they stay in the team. Time to really draw a line in the sand.

Rutten was so good that we made the finals with an 11-11 record and a % just over 100.
I donât count that as a successful thatâs barely scraping into finals cannon fodder for the bulldogs

itâs not about hinting that rutten was the answer.
but lets be real, he was given 2 years you canât know for sure what he could have been, and or what he could have grown into.
i was a big critic, and still am of mostly the same things that I am of Scott, but ones been in the system for his 14th year now as a coach, the other was a season and a half and a rabble of a club turned on him from bottom to the top bar a few who died on that hill.
you can think whatever you like of him, this club hung him out to dry and gave him little to no support to improve in the areas he needed to.
