Brad Scott - #Bradball and bust (Part 5)

What I don’t get is that Brad seemed to be a decent coach at North but comes to Essendon he’s not even close to that.

What would you consider a successful season? So that I know when we can call a Brad Scott season successful.

Agreed. I think a lot of richmond fans are currently where a lot of Essendon fans were in 2006 or so. Sure, we’re bad, but we’re a good club, we’ll bounce back quickly, we’ve got high picks, it’s going to be fine. It doesn’t meant they’re right, they just have a reserve of confidence to draw on. The tigers were absolutely ■■■■ last year with a lot of very highly credentialed senior players playing a lot of games for them and dominating their B&F, certainly a better senior group than we’re running out this year (or did most of last year).

It’s a lot easier as an Essendon supporter to see richmond lose a game by 80 points and just remember one of their kids kicked a sick goal. I don’t believe for a second that there’s any way Essendon could go -72, -82, -28, -61 across four weeks but play in a way that most of the complainers would say “that’s okay, I really liked our effort, I can see what we’re trying to do, solid game plan”.

Nothing to do with Brad but comfortably sitting inside the top 8 with a % of about 115-120

Realistcally unless it’s a top 4 finish with the double chance not interested in finishing between 5th-8th

Brad is a gimp.

Nino please.

He was the very defintion of mediocre. Coached Norf for 211 games, recording 103 wins and 108 losses (approx. 48.8% win rate). 10 seasons, 5 finals in total.

A coach in such demand he was working some fluffy, nebulous AwFuL role when we begged him to coach.

If that’s not mediocre, I don’t know what is.

We had to convince Brad to coach and convince Woosha to coach. Both of them looked like they didn’t care less. Both big mistakes.

Larest reports on Brad Scott overseeing Essendon AFL senior players warmup before Sunday’s Port game.

Supporters will stick with a new young coach for a couple of years - they just need to demonstrate development of players, a game plan, defence and ball movement. None of which Scott has demonstrated. In fact they’ve all gone backwards!

He was brought in to get more out of the list - has failed abysmally - has shown himself to be a dud - and should be moved on. The sooner we bite the bullet the better

I hope Nino says something stupid again and gets banned - again - so we don’t have to listen to any more of his pro-Scott nonsense.

I am beginning to think Nino is Brad Scott!

Can’t say I’ve ever seen nino and brad in the same room

Key to that is that they all had ONE outstanding season and we tripped over ourselves to lock them away.

The amount of people leaving (me included) at three quarter time on Friday night was akin to the days of our previously sacked coaches. The flow from the ground was so noticeable and can’t be accepted by the board. The people leaving were current paid up and committed members who expected better from Brad Ball. Our current predicament of no game style or plan is unlikely to attract new members or corporates in future years. The Sash boys summed everything wrong about Scott and his complete lack of footy IQ. We don’t have great players but he is not helping with his management and coaching.

And Durham?

Tinfoil hat stuff here -

Is Nino just a local AI bot, designed to defend Brad and purposely play devils advocate to everyone’s opinions on Blitz?

I was there with 4 hawk supporters and another bombers supporter. My hawk mates said at 3qrt time let’s go to the Royal. Didn’t have to convince me. We got kicked out of the royal at stumps and ended up at the espy. Got home at 7am. Missus wasn’t happy but can’t remember much of the game so that was a positive. The amount of people leaving at 3qtr time was full on.

The President isn’t & shouldn’t be in the box. It looks to us from the outside that Scott is doing absolutely nothing during matches so a genuine inside opinion that Welsh trusts is good management especially given the reality of where we are.

It’s pretty funny how people respond to him with well thought out replies and he just

Yeah I left 10min into the final qtr. enough was enough. It looked like the siren had already sounded with the amount of bomber fans already outside the ground
