Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 4)

C.Scott doesn’t need to, Longmire swears to much to be on camera all game and Lyon’s to aloof.

Yeah well, some supporters only have certain amount of paitence before they decide to either follow another team or just give afl the flick and go and follow another sport like nrl or rugby, 20 odd years is lot to test the paitence of most avid supporter, wonder how many supporters who were paid up members no longer follow the club?

True but this is what supporters were begging for us to rebuild which is a long painful process.

How many friggin rebuilds has the club done?? Too many - probably explains the current situation where we have the same top 4 clubs like collingwood and geelong who are both again going to to go a fair way into September again, meanwhile essendon is again planning trips to Ibiza or whatever, because they are not good enough. This club is a basketcase, and until a whole lot changes occur will continue to be one.

When my gf watched an episode of Squid Game without me I was so deeply ■■■■■■ off I proposed on the spot

So true, my daughter and I started watching the Raiders back in 22 we definitely enjoy it more than watching Essington now, we would most likely follow a Canberra afl team if they came in and make the Bombers our 2nd team.

I think the rebuild under Scott is going to be a little too “real” for you all. That was a performance you get with the 22 we have and also the way you get guys like Merrett to ask for trades.

Great post. This furthers my belief that Nino is either in Brads pocket, or Brad himself.

We have gone backwards… our team are not great on paper but are not poor…we are not connected, not playing as a team and down on confidence. The buck stops with Brad. just get him out. Im tipping another 60 points plus smashing by Freo.

I really think Luke Parker could have helped with this.

We have two players in our team that weren’t at the club a month ago.

We weren’t down on confidence the two weeks previous.

Considering they rang me the other day and offered me a free membership to return I’d say a lot

I got a call too, but didn’t answer. Was wondering what that was about.

Ridiculous really that they do that and then probably report it as though it’s record numbers

The last side to use 11 debutants in a single campaign came almost a decade ago in 2017, when North Melbourne – under now-Essendon coach Brad Scott – also brought through 11 youngsters across the course of its season.

Lets break the record debut another 3 players

I can see McMahon and Smart getting a go at some stage. The sooner the better as Gresham is giving me the ■■■■■.

The one comment I liked from B.Scott after the game was that some of the boys that have come in, will stay in regardless of players coming back. I am assuming he was referring to players Like Johnson and Clarke. You can see these players have a future, seems the club is aligned in full rebuild.

And that worked out well!!

2 years after that George got the boot and they’ve never been near it since……

What’s the positive in all this?

So we shouldn’t play the kids because it didn’t work out before???
You must be the only person on Blitz who doesn’t want to play the kids.

(I didn’t see it as either positive nor negative, just a weird fact)

Want to keep Scott? Fine. Replace EVERY assistant. And Leigh Matthews is appointed to select them. Brad has zero say in it. Get the four of them in a room and come up with a 2025 structure and game style. Then start teaching it. Cos what we have now is putrid
