I’m not sure that was solely his decision.

There was only seven of that 22 on the park tonight.

Did we pull the trigger on Rutten too early?

I think the end we are at is pretty pointy. The senior players cared. We are just not good enough.

We need someone to overide Scott in selection and player management

He wields too much power at the club in my opinion. He has them all bluffed.

If by caring you mean jogging around half arsed, not manning up, not laying a tackle etc then yeah they care.

You are getting what you want with the draft hand. We’ll likely be just as bad next year too. I think bleak games like this go with the territory. When there is nothing to play for, games will go like this.

One or two bleak games like tonight is understandable but this is number 9 now for Brad in 3 years. He has no structure or game plan

I don’t remember too many tackles sticking tonight, even Duz’s “arm” on Rowell, swatted like a fly. Embarrassing. Worst loss since Doggies debacles

Brad is crap we know this but it runs deeper than him

Gia been here since the Rutten days midfield is still ■■■■ and soft.

Backline and forward coaches are non existent and useless.

There is no one challenging Scott in that box

Look at the top 8 teams most have premiership players or ex senior coaches beside their main man.

Who do we have ex nth Melbourne trash

Ben Jacobs

Cam Roberts

Stanton who got the ass from Carlton.

Go and target decent coaches

Troy Chaplin coached both forwards and backs and will be a senior coach

Adam Simpson

Dean Solomon

Make Ken Hinkley director of coaching or football

David Rath is responsible for game plan and tactics he has been an abject failure

Instead of being reactive this club needs to be ahead.of the curve and stop following trends like they have for the last 23 years.

Just remember that when we started to have a bit of run and carry during the years it was Scott saying the assistants were responsible for it .

you can find numerous examples but our kick outs yes are just ordinary

even tonight Redman kicked it in short he didn’t have an opponent didn’t even go for the the handball

There either being coached that way or we need to move players on

I’m guessing it’s both

Just un-ignored you.

What an astute post.

Probably says more about me than you.

I know that the team is young and inexperienced but that was an absolute disgrace. One of the worst games in the history of the club.

If that is the best that Scott can get from the team he should not be allowed ever to coach the side again.

I once was told you can have excuses for some things but 1 thing is non negotiable

EFFORT

No matter what that’s a non negotiable

It’s shows a lot about the team

Another :100: post DKP

Cracking post. An accurate one.

I get so much was at stake for GC, but at the very least the first qtr can be when you have a real dip and make em earn it.

No one here expected a win, but that first quarter said everything you need to know about Essendon.

I’ll just leave this here.

■■■■ Brad Scott.

■■■■ the spineless ■■■■■ who never stood up to the the Fat Prick and the AFL ball lickers.

They are like Trump’s White House these days.

What could have been.

What we could be with a bit of ■■■■■■■ support.

In hindsight, it’s really no surprise that Brad is floundering in his role. He was a mediocre coach at best with North, and then spent time with the most incompetent administration of all time at AFL HQ.

Red flags everywhere.

Sack the coach, this finishing bottom four business and 13 straight losses is unacceptable.

Take me back to 11th and draft purgatory plz.
