Nah you just get banned for calling people vile slurs over the years, and then have the nerve to act all innocent because you’ve sort of been a good boy for a little while.
And I never called you dumb.
I just said that I wish I could crowdfund to ban you from the internet.
For someone who posts every eight seconds it’s odd that you don’t seem to have any understanding about what others are posting. The overwhelming majority of posters on here accept that we are not very good, and that we’re going to lose more games than we win. This season is not about wins, most folks accept that. But after almost three years in charge, and with all the resources at his disposal, performances like Saturday night are completely, entirely, utterly unacceptable. Performances like the Adelaide game are unacceptable, likewise the numerous insipid capitulations across 2023-24.
We still get regularly belted by the better teams, we still can’t defend against any kind of quality, and we still eke out completely dull, uninspiring wins against the crap teams. Brad Scott has been in charge for almost three years, and I don’t see any real signs of improvement. That is just ■■■■■■■ terrible. He was a poor choice to begin with, and is doing a lousy job in his role. It’s just idiocy to keep defending him.
I’ll put it to you this way: do you think Brad Scott is getting the best out of his players? If your answer is yes, then you know even less about the game than your posting history suggests.
Your expectations of Brad Scott are very high. He is not the messiah. He didn’t want the job in the first place, but the money kept going up. To me he looks like a bloke that has no interest in the job
Ok, listen very carefully. It’s not about RESULTS, it’s about PERFORMANCE. You can lose and still shows signs of intent, work ethic, good system and improvement. Losing by 15 goals to a team missing four of its starting 18 and who just did the biggest road trip in Australian football to play in completely enervating conditions suggests that is not happening. We’ve had 11 losses of 40+ points in 55 games (27 losses overall) under Scott. There is such a thing as losing well, but it almost never happens under this regime. Hell, most of the time under Scott we don’t even win well.
We had players missing too you know not just dogs.
Not having both first choice ruckman and key back missing is not ideal Draper acts like a big mid that can bullock his way out of a stoppage form a ruck hit out not saying we would have won but it makes a diffrence for a team like ours. We had a replacement in Hayes but he got injured too dogs are able to cover their injured players we cant.
Still dosen’t excuse the lack of pressure and effort tho
Bloody hell, either you’re a relative of Brad Scott or you’ve got some kind of romantic feeling for him. Your lack of sense on this topic hurts my brain, so I’ll just leave it at that, but it seems pretty clear to everybody else where this is heading.
Nino I really like you as a poster, but Im almost at the point of putting you on ignore.
Your constant defending of Scott is genuinely nauseating.
You are arguing with half the forum about him.
He has been here almost 3 years and we have absolutely no sign of improvement, in any area. How can you think that is ok?
Yes the team is young, and the list needs upgrades.
But literally no discernible game plan and not a single metric improvement in ANY area on the ground.
For 3 years that is absolutely not ok.
If either of these 2, or Dimma from The suns, I reckon the results would be different, and we would be in the proper part of the ladder, top 4, Not languasing in no mans land
