Has he been sacked yet?
Wont be long.
The worst coach we have had for a long long time.

The worst coach we have had for a long long time.
I think itll be at the end of this year, which is far too long but we are cowards.
The reality is that it wouldnât be an attractive place for a coach if we sacked Rutten then sacked Brad this season. Two contracted coaches in a row. I think we would find ourselves more likely promoting Solly in that case as how would we be able to convince someone like Hinkley that he would be any safer and stable.
We have a very average list. Itâs as simple as that. Who is our best players in order of best to worst?
Merrett is our only âeliteâ player and based on today I would say he is on the decline too.
Next we would have had Martin and Draper but because we donât have them there is big gap to the second best player.
Durham, Caldwell and Parish are all B graders because they just go missing and just can step up or have injury interruptions.
But based on importance I would say Wright and Langford are our next best players.
We just have too many deficiency to make a good run at winning games this year.
Astute coaching by Bradley today. Hawks going to let their guard down thinking we can kick, score goals, or defend. Little do they knowâŚ
Makes sense, gives the new coach the bye to work everything out before the next game.
So going off that the same players from last 3 years are the issue
Remember this the coach that was going to get more out of the list and win a final
Howâs that going
The bloke canât coach with all the intel he was bringing the game has gone past him
Itâs about pace and pressure we have very litttle of both
Iâm sure hawthorn where trading for Merrett to play him af full forward lol
Brad is in his 4th season, he has had enough time, he will be gone by mid season, if I predict we are languasing towards the bottom of the ladder.
Every trait of Bradâs dismal tenure seen so abundantly over 3 years was again clearly on display todayâŚ
Dismal skills.
Inability to score.
Woeful forward craft.
Pathetic entries into forward 50.
Underwhelming senior players.
Woeful defensive systems.
Lack of discernable gameplan.
Cut up through the midfield.
Opposition midfielders racking up huge numbers unchecked.
Lack of changes to stem trends of play.
Questionable positional moves (Duursma, Merett, Prior etc.)
Not a single thing has improved. Itâs like farking Groundhog Day.
Yes, it was a practice match and the result itself is utterly irrelevant.
But seeing the same â â â â over and over and over again is tiresome, and it is a clear indication we are in for much more of the same. This bloke ainât going to change his methods in any wayâŚ
Man, this fkn guy. Makes it so tough to get behind him. Iâll reserve my pitchfork for his head, howeverâŚ
any coach with an ounce of sense corrects all of these. Pretty â â â â â â â easily.
Jury well and truly out.
Yep.
We had trouble attracting quality candidates last time
It was so bad that we basically had to beg Brad to apply because the choices were Hird,Solomon,Yze to pick from.
Why would any asirping coach want to coach us if they know they could get sacked half way through their contract
Brad gets sacked with a year to run Hinkley would just laugh and be like no thanks

A meaningless practice game against one of the most insipid clubs of all time and weâre already turning on each other. This bodes well for the year ahead.
Champ hard, champ often. Champ together. Xoxo
I really wish welsh kept his gun in the holster and waited to cause a split.
He could have stayed quiet let Merrett go and then half way through this season come with a board spill and sack Brad but the way he went about it he tied himself to Scott
You have no idea who applied for our job. You are speculating
I stand by it.
At the time those were the names that was reported
Any coach who isnât licking their lips at getting the same treatment as Brad Scott has at Essendon clearly doesnât want to be a senior coach at AFL level.
I think itâs a bad look if we sack another coach mid contract.
Whatâs worse? Being sacked at the end of a 3-year contract, or being extended and then sacked after 4 years out of 5? If Iâm a coach, Iâd look at that 4 years as a pretty generous length of time for me to achieve any kind of meaningful on-field improvement.
Here are my thoughts
