Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 4)

Vigo is the obvious one. Doesn’t even need to be as a full time ruck. He could fill Langford’s role as third tall forward and relieve Goldy in the ruck.

The problem that Q1 is before other teams get complacent?

I would like to see unwin or Davey in for Hobbs , Vigo for goldy and you could mount a case for blackers against teams with two tall forwards.

Usual predictable bile. We have half a team out there. You lot are as bad as the Carlton fans acting like they’d won a flag last night. How dare he coach a loss against a team with 1 key player out as opposed to…I dunno, I’ve run out of fingers to count them

Not Davey, had his chances, will be gone seasons end.

He would have to start up forward, like ‘skull’ did last night for FarkCarlton. But yeah I’d love to see him soon, would love him to be next. Unless May comes on quickly that is, the forward aspect.

I want to see some journo tomorrow ask Brad at the weekly press conference on why tsastas isn’t playing and what you are doing of Murphy and his fitness crew with so many soft tissue injuries

No Hawkins and we will still get blown out of the water with all our injuries.

milestone game.

Farking hell we just can’t catch a break…

What gulf in competence between the two there sadly is.

This year:

Hawthorn 6 goals to 1

Adelaide 4-1

West Coast 5-1

Collingwood 5-1

Bulldogs 10-1

Brisbane 6-1

Carlton 6-1

That’s our starts to seven matches this season.

In five of them we worked our way back into the match (and we beat the Eagles).

Brad and the coaches have been pretty good getting these guys back on track after a break, feel like that’s been the case for his tenure, but what the ■■■■ are we doing in first quarters? It’s historically bad.

Young team, perhaps its distractions and time between instruction and implementation, but far out at the moment if I was Brad I’d be treating the pre game warm up like a quarter time break and giving them another set of instructions five mins before match starts.

Or is it the skippers role? First quarter against Geelong will be very interesting this week.

Are you suggesting the senior coach has authority over the fitness department?

No. I as a paid up member want to know if he is asking questions

Thats on the players I think.

In game someone is definetly coaching and coaching well.

We have turned two games around. Missed the choccies but won the remaining quarters of football.

I think we have won 6/8 of our last quarters of footy.

I don’t expect Scott to create a miracle this weekend. I think we will get our arse handed too us, massively. I think any coach would with the side we will field.

But I think he is coaching well.

And selections are fine.

Bet Rutten wasnt like that

Geelong will be predictable and will go one way. not in our favour

an equally sized gulf in the talent and culture

not too many years ago we started with some wins and cats lost a few early. the long long time president of our club is a crazy cats supporter and he wanted to sack their coach. thought chris had gone stale and was all praise for his twin bro.

couldn’t believe his lack of judgement and how fickle his support for chris scott was.

we’ll just have to wait this one out ie see how far we get with this coach and the new batch of draftees. brad will get 5 years to shake the club up.
