Concerning footage emerges after AFL player's positive virus test
Footage of Essendon training days before Conor McKenna's positive COVID-19 test has raised a few eyebrows.

Getting a quote from Fevola about betting on games.
What is this, The onion?
Midfielder ?
āI never voted for anyoneā
To be fair on him, Connor McKenna is back in town so heās probably following him to see if he blows his nose.
Following the West Coast / Margetts model. Sydney have asked if they can continue to have 3 for home games & Collingwood have requested their traditional venality for ANZAC Day.
Apologies to all the AFL reporters. I believe I have treated them unjustly and unfairlyā¦. And they donāt deserve that.
āAFL Integrity Unitā - FFS.
āAFLā and āintegrityā in the same sentence is so farking wrong on so many levels.
Seriously fark this competition.
āAFL Integrity Unitā
Relax everyone, my sauces tell me heās a #goodbloke.
Will get a $5000 fine and have to do a short 2 hr course on the evils of gambling.
All good.
Has anyone of these AFL journalists asked Cardinal George Pell for a comment ?
I know youāre taking the ā ā ā ā , but their band/fines are all over the place.
This is from 2010
The AFL confirmed goal umpire Chris Appleton had been stood down for the remainder of the 2010 season for placing four bets worth $60 on the game.
Appleton did not officiate in the match.
In other betting breaches:
The Western Bulldogs were fined $7500 after club director Geoff Walsh was found to have placed bets;
Port Adelaide assistant coach Matthew Primus was suspended for two weeks for placing a $20 multi-bet including a NAB Cup match;
Two interchange stewards were stood down for the rest of the season - one for placing a bet on a match he officiated in and;
A timekeeper was stood down for five weeks over a $5 bet.
So at best he was telling his mates who got the votes and at worst he was fixing the votes in games he umpired? Option B really stuffs things for the AFL.
The AFL will work to sweep the second under the rug, if it happened.
On the first, how stupid do you have to be to bet correctly on all of those games? Mix it up with some losses. Figuring out who was the corrupt official would have been childās play.
The third headache, is that if he was willing to do this, what else was he willing to do? Did he deliberately try and skew match results because of betting during the year, or was it only passing on the inside knowledge of who had what Brownlow votes.
Jeez Luke Darcy won it?!
Well, here comes our time to shine, how do we sweep yet another shyteshow off the front of the rags for AwFL

Fascinating that Brownlow-gate is trendingā¦. Meanwhile AFL reporters arenāt touching it. Clearly a directive from the league, to not give this oxygen.
Tom Browneā¦. Crickets

Still one of the best AFL stories ever.
Spyglass share sell off was not insider trading, confirmed by Vladās affidavit.
Ahhh yes.
I have enjoyed Tom Browne going through each of Pellās 2022 matches with a fine-tooth comb, to find any potential corruption.

Wonder if he had a betting dungeon?
