They vote who they think had the biggest impact on the ground. Maybe sit around the umps room after the game and have a chat. But 90% of the time it goes to mids as thats who they see the most of around them.
Rucks are severely disadvantaged. Gawn and Grundy had blinders and Gawn is 11 behind Mitchell at round 21.
