In his geelong days he would of nailed that shot with his eyes shut. Unlike Kelly he is cooked. Would love to see eades strut his stuff. Stokes is done.
First half was great. Only reason they were in it was a couple of dodgy frees and we took too many chances up the guys. Particularly liked Jamar and Looney working together, once both were injured we were always gonna struggle.
JD looked good. Kicking much improved, some nice marks. Needs to continue getting a clean run at the ball.

The tackling issue is bullshit because you can pretty much have a guy Have prior opportunity, go for a fend off, get tackled, get spun 720, have a team mate come in and just hand the ball to him or place/drop it on the ground.
And it’s play.
So then you have to try and bury a bloke to be rewarded, but then they serve up this BS.
As a kid I’m sure there was an ‘unduly rough play’ free kick, but rarely seen it paid.
Overall a good performance and the score flattered WC. Obviously the umpiring was terrible. However what the stats don’t show is where the actual frees were paid. I’m not sure if we got a free in our forward line? The really stark comparison for me was the free paid to Kennedy in the first half where he was not impacted in the contest against the free not paid to Brown when he was pulled away from the ball. We were never going to win anyway I guess.
Thought Joe and Zerrett were good and Jerrett not bad either. Tippa looked like he was playing on skates and Stokes is keeping a young guy out and providing very little.
