MC5 co-founder Wayne Kramer no longer kicking out the jams - gone at age 75.
I saw him live at a gig at The Palace in St Kilda in the early-mid 90s on the same bill as The Powder Monkeys and Radio Birdman. It was a big night.

Useless tidbit. Stallone was originally earmarked to play the Carl Weathers character in Predator and Jean-Claude Van Damme was cast to be the actual Predator

" A South Australian woman believed to have been Australia’s oldest living person has died aged 111.
Catherina van der Linden died on Australia Day at Southern Cross Care’s West Beach Residential Care home, according to a funeral notice.
The great-grandmother — who was born in the Netherlands on August 26, 1912 — was also believed to be the oldest living Dutch person in the world.
“[Catherina] passed away peacefully on Australia Day January 26, 2024 at West Beach Residential,” the funeral notice read.
“Beloved wife of John (deceased). Cherished mother of Mariella and Bob, Jerome and Robyn, Garrath and Thawanrat (Nop), Margherita and Carl.”
