Eddie Money has died, aged 70. Turns out he only needed one ticket to paradise.
Noooooooooo.
Take Me Home Tonight is an epic.
Paul Cronin has passed away at 81. I grew up watching him on The Sullivans.
Australian actor Paul Cronin has died, aged 81.
Born in Jamestown, South Australia, Cronin was well known for his roles in TV shows The Sullivans and State Coroner, winning five silver Logies.
He was also a passionate AFL supporter and helped set up the Brisbane Bears, serving as president of the club from 1987 to 1989.
I was never a Sullivans fan but loved him as a motorbike-riding cop in Matlock Police. Along with Division 4 it was mandatory viewing at our house.
Fair to say the shows probably havenât aged very well. But then the same can be said about me.
Thanks for the memories Paul.
Even went on past both shows to carry one on his own in Solo One.
Got a shitload of mileage out of that one character. RIP Paul.
Big Bombers fan until he was one of the Bearsâ founding fathers.
I believe Christopher Skase was too.
Excellent guitar riff
Whose gonna drove you home âŠtonight.
Loved The Cars
Yep, me too.
Went on to produce a couple of very decent Weezer albums aswell
Yeah loved The Cars, sad news.
As a producer Ric Ocasek made every band he worked with sound better⊠it wasnât just Weezer. He also played well above himself in snagging the very lovely Paulina Porizkova all those years agoâŠ
RIPâŠ
Ah shitttt
Great producer too, helmed the blue albumđȘ
Undid my first bra strap one handed to that song
Good memories
Any teenager of the 80âs wouldâve had Cars LPâs in their stash
The Cars best of is on high rotation in the car. Sad news.
I donât want you coming round, wasting all my time
I tried it to Letâs Go and got kneed in the nuts
Along with the Police, maybe the best of the singles bands in the 80âs.
But geez, you know youâre getting old when the music idols of your youth start dropping off the perch.
the ending of eras
