I feel like I must take you to task;
Sarsaparilla, a few syrup nips in the beer the next morning, no better way to get the buzz happening again. A nice sugar rush and subtle sweetness ( This was me in my 20’s ) cured every hangover.

I recall in an interview with Peter Sellars not long before his death that he’d observed that he’d been acting for so long that he’d forgotten how to act like himself. Reckon Cruise is a bit like that.
Personally i think it more than that for Cruise. His father was a violent man and Cruise has spoken about always having to “act” around him to try and lesson what would come quite regularly. So I think part of it is just a natural acting that he learnt as a kid as a way to avoid difficult situations. It is not something you unlearn and can make all relationships and dealings with people seem fake to them. He was also heavily bullied in school.
You combine those two situations and you can create a guy who acts for everyone.

Watched collateral last night which is one of my faves. The scene where he wants his briefcase back is gold.
And he certainly ■■■■■ all over Tom Hanks, who is the grand potato of the silver screen.
