He along with Cathy interviewed Kramer when he was promoting his book about coffee table books.
RIP Peter Green, one of my favourite tonal guitarists. I liked Fleetwood Mac much more when he was in the band.
RIP Peter Green. His work with FM is some of the best blues music of the time.
Yep Peter Green’s FM was the farkn ■■■■, great band
Fleetwood Mac appeared on Playboy after Dark in 1970 and what would you sing about in the Playboy Penthouse ? Masturbating. Why not. Rattle Snake Snake.
l prefer this version, if only because it is longer, much longer. The band really get plenty of room to stretch out and experiment.
Peter Green replaced Clapton in John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. When he left to pursue his own career, Mayall asked his opinion of his proposed replacement, Mick Taylor, who joined at the tender age of 20.Green approved, and Taylor got the gig. Not a bad line up of guitarists that, perhaps only ever bettered by the line up of guitarists for the Yardbirds.
Bomber3232 bought me this album for a birthday, this is a great version of Albatross. Country Soul style. The album has some of my favorite guitarists on it ,Harvey Mandel Kim Simmonds [Savoy brown] Rory Gallagher Dave Perrett.
A pretty good version until the sax/harp kick in. Albatross and Oh Well are a couple of those songs that were so perfect the first time around, that any cover version pales beside them.
RIP
