Celebrity deaths 2021

If we are just randomly talking about musicals now - I finally got to watch Hamilton a few weeks ago. Having not been overseas in the last 4 years because of little kids, I never got the chance to see it in NYC, so I went for the Disney+ version (which is a recording of a live Broadway show from the original cast).

Oh my god. It is so so so soooooo good. Everything that people make it out to be and more.

i had a matte who had a dvd of the the Sound of Music in his video rack in his loungeroom. This confused me as i never saw him as one who sat around watching the Sound of Music, he was i believed more into the shoot everyone genre. Eventually he told me it was a ā– ā– ā– ā–  movie in a sound of Music cover so he could hide it from visitors.

That’s risky when Nanna makes a considered movie selection the family will just love after lunch on Christmas day.

It’s like a million voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

It’s also a lot to do with the Oompa Loompas for me. The original’s OL songs and dance moves are hilariously good compared to the remake.

Yeah…as I said, I like that guy.
I feel kinda bad that I don’t know his name.

Freakin’ awesome X Files episode.

Bugger (in the nice way) little girls, I love the King and I. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, West Side Story, South Pacific, Hans Christian Anderson, Mary Poppins, Grease, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fiddler On The Roof, Funny Girl, My Fair Lady, Singing In The Rain, Guys and Dolls, An American In Paris, The Wizard of Oz, Momma Mia 1 & 2, The Greatest Showman.

Love em all.

Have never watched or read a Science Fiction book or movie in my life - It bores me to tears - In saying that, I’d be lucky to watch one movie a year.

If you’ve never read a Sci Fi book…or watched a Sci Fi movie…on what do you base this boredom?

Wow.
Explains a lot.

Just slightly above ā€œGame of Lifeā€

Given the wide span of the sci-fi genre, I find that quite ridiculous.

(And isn’t Star Wars a ā€œwesternā€ anyway…? )

Mork and Mindy the tv show must have been a no go zone?

He didn’t say that he never watch sci fi TV programs

As such I put a ? In.

We should have a thread of highly rated movies that people haven’t seen.

Perhaps even mentioned why you haven’t seen them
