It continues to be a sad week in music.
Reggae great Neville Livingstone (aka Bunny Wailer) had died at the age of 73, having outlived former bandmates Bob Marley and Peter Tosh by many years.

Michael Gudinski was a very interesting man. He always supported me and my musical endeavors. He was a champion of women and backed them to the hilt. He was also a scoundrel of the highest order and a lot of fun but also knew exactly what he was doing.
The last time I saw him was at the after party for Gotye at the Grammy’s in LA in 2013. He swooped upon me with glee and grabbed the beer out of my hands and took a huge swig, knocking half the pint down in one gulp. “Shhhh” he said, “the wife thinks I’ve stopped drinking.” I laughed and said, “Michael, my publishing contract has run out. You can’t just take 50% from me anymore.” We both laughed and told each other how good it was to see each other.
He was a generous man and loved Australian music. I will miss him.
