Did he invent the soft drink?

That’s no good. I really enjoyed that series, particularly as the participants are roughly my age.

Last one I saw was 63up and one had died, another was very ill and Neil was still Neil.

The best bit in that entire series was the time the dog killed a rabbit in the background.

That’s an odd thing to enjoy.

It was a Sydney Swans mascot rabbit. He enjoyed it.

RIP Marion Ramsey.

I hadn’t noticed that prominent nightclub owner, Brian Goldsmith, died in December at the age of 88.

He owned The Underground and The Redhead inter al and was the father of celebrity Tottie Goldsmith.

Well known actress and singer, if that isn’t celebrity, what is?

I’d heard of her, and I certainly haven’t heard of a lot of people currently called celebrities…mainly because I never watch reality TV.

ā€œActorā€ and ā€œsingerā€, eh?
Any more wooden and you could use her to build park benches…

But she’s a podium-finish in the sport of diva antics… Saw that for myself when dining a few years ago at Falls Creek. The immortal ā€œdon’t you know who I amā€ line was clearly uttered for all the restaurant to hear…

I was referring to your mate Brian Goldsmith.

The thread doesn’t mention fathers of so called celebrities.
