Celebrity Deaths 2022

Meatloaf was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to in 1993 and one of the worst in 2011. Still love Paradise By The Dashboard Light.

This!

It actually rained quite heavy in the lead up to his performance to the point that on the radio coverage they said that they may have to cancel it due to the danger it posed to him and everyone on stage. That must have created a whole raft of issues for the sound technicians and crew trying to put the show on. It sickened me to see Vlad fooling around and hamming it up for the cameras on the news with his teenage idol during GF week and then slam Meatloaf after the debacle as if he never knew him. But then again hypocrisy was always one Vlad’s strong suits. I felt sorry for Meatloaf after that episode.

RIP Meatloaf.

R.I.P. Meatloaf

Couldn’t stand them ‘Loaf’ but the girl in his video for “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth” provided a lot of visual stimulation for this teenager back in 77.

Yes, his MCG performance will unfortunately be remembered poorly, but his iconic hits and powerful songs evoke many special memories. (You took the words right out of my mouth., Paradise by the Dashboard, 2 out of 3 - all special songs in my life)
RIP

Only she wasn’t the singer, that was Ellen Foley. I was not a fan, and never bought one of his records. There was no need to purchase one as people all over the place had it, but l recognize that he was the right guy at the right time, and put on quite a theatrical show. RIP.

2 out of 3 is an absolute classic.

It was well known that he would do a lot of things for love.

Anything, in fact.

Because a good meatloaf is great and you’ll stop whatever it is you’re doing to have some?

Will always associate him with receiving my first ever certain sexual experience with a girlfriend whilst driving. Always thought I hated him up until that moment, will always remember him more than fondly after it. R.I.P. big fella.

I have to go there

I wonder if the last thing he saw, was his heart- still beating…

Hopefully he enjoys his Herman Cain Award too

Oh was he?

He was at the very least anti-mask and anti-mandate

I remember Ellen Foley having an excellent album called Night Out back in the day. It was a Number 1 album in Adelaide at the time. Not sure it was a hit anywhere else however.

Apparently he had covid, it developed quickly. He was an outspoken critic of Aus mandated vaxx policy.
