His delivery was pretty compelling.
Very punchy (sorry), statement based, and pretty much always had an actual quote.
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
Oh no
Oh sad news. He was part of the soundtrack to my teenage years and strangely part of my drunken Swiss life.
I think a little bit of him died at the MCG on that infamous day
Heaven no longer has to wait. Bat out of Hell got a good run in LJ Torana heading up to Jamison Creek and Eilden for water skiing in my youth.
Sad news about Meatloaf. I grew up listening to him because my dad always had one of his records playing. Him and Jim Steinman gone somehow seems like the end of rock opera.
RIP Meatloaf
As an aside I couldn’t stand his music.
^^ This ^^
RIP nonetheless…
Yep, hated his music but well aware of his importance and still sad
Omg I love Meatloaf’s songs.
Part of, and maybe most of, his career, no doubt.
A shame, really, coz he was no doubt a huge star for a decade or two.
74 out of 111 ain’t bad.
Really sad news…I absolutely loved Bat Out of Hell…knew the words to every song and wore out my vinyl copy.
It’s sad that a lot of people will choose to remember the GF episode rather than the joy that he brought to millions across the world.
RIP Big Man
The poor taste jokes are already circulating. I’ll refrain from repeating them here.
One of the greats. Bat Out of Hell was a masterpiece. I shall belt out “two out of three ain’t bad” to the best of my ability in a road trip tomorrow in his honour.
His name was Robert Paulson
This: BOOH was epic, my clear favourite when I was 10. Later efforts, meh. RIP you “hunk of meatloaf”.
