id say that masterchef and the new series is perhaps a possible reason cause of death hasnt been reported.
No suspicious circumstances is standard. Police don’t decide cause of death.
It could be one for the Coroner.
The Cooker crowd are already putting it down to the vaccine.
Oh that is just the cops ruling our foul play.
When Warne passed, even without a coroners report, a “heart attack” was quickly reported. And later confirmed via a coroners report.
The family has requested privacy haven’t they?
It just wouldn’t surprise me if Channel 10 has encouraged that stance as well if it is something that wouldnt be commercially palatable for their show.
Warne did not die in Australia.
In this case the Police stated they would be preparing a report for the Coroner.
Gudinski died in March 2021, cause of death not confirmed until October that year.
And Gudinski had what would be a controversial death(for a show like Masterchef) if it was the same way Jock went.
What about something with a little less stigma?
Hmm, in a younger day, one of the bands I played with supported Broderick and his Big Combo at the Corner hotel. They were all top blokes- even helped us during the load out, ( usually the responsibility of the support band). And he was a great live singer. Always liked “Faded Roses” as a single- though I was too young to catch the more vital part of his career.
Poor Broderick has become Farrah Fawcett to Jock Zonfrillo’s Michael Jackson.
A decorated career in their own right, but passed at the same time as someone more famous/topical and thus fallen into the shade.
Interesting take from my personal perspective.
Until yesterday, I’d never heard of this chef bloke but knew quite a bit about Broderick Smith.
I’d agree. I only know of the chef from him appearing on Masterchef - don’t know much of his prior history (only what I’ve now read). I’m plenty more familiar with Broderick Smith.
Canadian singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot gone at the age of 84.
Agh… RIP.
A song so good even the “Studio 54-ised” version from 15 years or so ago didn’t manage to completely bollocks it up.
Agghhh ■■■■ really started appreciating his music more lately, not that he was bringing new stuff out but some real classic tunes
Michael Palin’s wife, Helen, has died after years with kidney problems. He was always my favourite Python (I love Ripping Yarns). I started reading his blog and saw something incongruous.

Despite soccer people insisting that it’s never “soccer”, it’s “football”, I’ve always said that when I was young (in the 70s), it was frequently called soccer in England, probably to avoid confusion with the rugby games. Palin repeatedly refers to it as soccer, and he was from a soccer city, Sheffield.
