Champions League 2024/25

LOL, I’m a sniper. Always looking for an opportunity to take a Blitzer down.

Glad we are all EFC fans here. Can you imagine the carnage if other fans came on here? I know that I for one was absolutely insufferable in 2000-01 and gave plenty of ammo to fans of other teams. Lesson learnt.

Amorim bodied cotterill the same way sporting bodied city.

Inter beat Arsenal 1-0.

Mbappe looks a shell of the player he was in the farmers league

Good to see my Milan play the way they did. We really could’ve scored 5

Spurs being put to the sword in Turkey this evening in the Europa. Galatasaray 3-1 up after 60’. Could’ve easily been more tbf. Galatasaray peppering the Spurs net.

Its a full blooded tie thats for sure.
Spurs now down to 10, Lankshear second yellow :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Went to bed thinking Osimhen is gonna exploit us and probably net a brace. 28 shots on goal for the team though, that’s not good.

From all reports, it sounds like we were lucky not to be 6 down by the first half. Not sure Ang had much of a choice needed to rotate the squad and spurs have bought kids, need to play them at some stage. Think this game was a bit of a free hit, but Jan is going to be tough with the amount of games and quality we play in Europe.

Glorious

As a non supporter of any club, it’s nice seeing teams like Man City and Real Madrid struggle a bit.

And PSG to that list

Liverpool 2-0 ahead of Real Madrid at Anfield in what has been a cagey and tight match. Scoreless at HT, the Reds went ahead through MacAlister before Robertson gave away a penalty shortly after. Mbappe had his spot kick excellently saved by Kelleher. Liverpool then had a penalty of their own only for Salah to put it wide. Gakpo has put the Reds 2 up with 15 remaining.

PS: Luka Modric gets applauded off the pitch as his night ends. Respect for a champion.

Some of the big boys not going so well. UEFA might need to come up with an alternative format

Conor Bradley and Caoimhin Kelleher proving themselves to be more than adequate replacements for the injured Alisson and Alexander-Arnold.

Massive night for those lads. Bradley is top drawer. It’s why I’m not that bothered if Trent does leave, because we’ve got him. Salah and Van Dijk are the two we must sign because they are irreplaceable.

Curtis Jones also had a great game. That’s 3 academy players who have bossed at against Real Madrid.

Kelleher is too good to be the second string keeper, I hope he stays going forward but I’m not sure he will.
