He’d be top 5 in the PL right at this moment. I can only think of 3 keepers who I would say are superior in the whole of the league. Alisson, Ederson and Emi Martinez, and you could mount a case and say Kelleher right now is better than Martinez. Even Jaros, who is our #3, looks good. And we’ve signed the big Georgian goalie, who is on loan at Valencia this season. We are stacked in the GK department!

Not pretty, but Liverpool made it 6 from 6 with an away win at Girona. Mo Salah’s penalty just after the hour the only goal in the game. Most pleasing was the return of Alisson in goal, who was excellent as usual.

CL action back this morning, Liverpool make it 7 from 7 after a 2-1 win at Anfield, Salah and Elliott the scorers. Slot put out a stronger team than I anticipated. Surely he uses the final game to give the squad players a runaround?
