Changes for 2021 Dreamtime V Tigers

Aren’t polite company and BBlitz mutually exclusive terms?

Lachie is not very good. i would expect him to be delisted at the end of the year.

Yes.

If he got one game, to play in the indigenous game against the tigers, before being delisted it would still be something.

Now I agree that Johnson is a fair way off it. And not sure if the fitness is there.
But it is a specific role, that he has the body strength to do. - Cahill and Ham could see opposition breaking tackles. And you know some players excel at the next level.
Yes, he could end up a disapointment like Jake Long,

Maybe I just cant help, but suggest an indigenous lad every time dream time comes around. If Snelling wasnt injured, he would be miles off IMO.

But it is a development year after all.

It might be informative to check relative strengths and weaknesses of Richmond and the Bombers on Squiggle.

Since the start of the season, Richmonds defence has markedly reduced in effectiveness, while their attack has slightly reduced.
Our attack has markedly improved, while defence has improved a bit.

Richmond hate playing anywhere other than the G, ( just like Geelong want to play more games at GMHBA. )

We are in with a good chance, on neutral territory based on trends.

it’s weird the report on the club site says that Lav got subbed out but i don’t recall that happening. Ham certainly didn’t get a touch.

losing him and snelling really hurts. Though for lav we have cover, francis come in and zerk holds his spot.

i guess it’s ham or cahill for snelling. frustrating

Huge buzz over here in the West for the Bombers. I have a good feeling about this

i really don’t think we should ruck draper one out first game back. it’s all well and good to say use langford and cox to rotate but it’s worth noting that Phillips played 77% game time as a pure ruckman. i honestly don’t want Draper have to play that many pure ruck minutes and i would not want lanford and cox to be having to share more than 23%.

with wright out it’s the perfect opportunity to have a look at phillips and draper as a forward/ruck combination. I think we’d get a real benefit from having a hard nosed contested ruckman on ball for 100% game time. I also think draper and phillips are capable of giving at least as good a contest as wright does when he’s forward. to accommodate this i’d drop waterman.

The caveat here is that if it’s a wet night i’d probably hesitate to pull the trigger on this.

If your keen on playing 2 rucks, why not Draper and Bryan, rather than Phillips and Draper.
I thought Draper was going to struggle to get back to WA.
Assume VFL dont get a game this week, hope our leftovers can get a run for Peel with Howlett and Co in WA.

i’m not opposed to draper and bryan in due course (i’m even looking forward to it) I just think you have to do that right thing by phillips at the selection table and he doesn’t deserve to be dropped.

looks like edwards will be back though, he always murders us. Hopefully we put some time into him or his a bit underdone.
